Sodamola Oluseye Desmond popularly known by his stage name as DJ Spinall is a famous Nigerian disk jockey, song writer, record producer, model and a recording artiste. He was born on 2nd June 1981 in Lagos, Nigeria. He is currently 36 years old. He is very handsome, gifted, creative, skillful and talented.
He was born and bred in Lagos State in the south southern part of Nigeria, where he completed both his primary and secondary school education and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate.
After completing his primary and secondary school education in Lagos, DJ Spinall proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago Iwoye, Ogun State in the south southern part of Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. In 2003, he started his DJ career and was signed to Mavin Records in 2013.
DJ Spinall started calling himself DJ Spinall in 2003, before he was signed to Mavin Records in 2013 which he is no longer under. DJ just as the name implies signifies a disc jockey who plays all kinds of genre of music, he is not restricted to any specific genre, his style of play has been tagged by many as ‘fearless’ as a result of his ability to bring all kinds of music in one playlist, these differentiated him out from other DJs and won him several awards.
On 11th September 2018, DJ Spinall signed an international major deal with Atlantic Records in United Kingdom and the record deal was announced via his Instagram post at Atlantic Records in United Kingdom headquarter, where the recording deal was signed between DJ Spinall and Atlantic Records United Kingdom, alongside his Manager Tolulope S.
In 2015, DJ Spinall signs a major deal with Smirnoff Ice drink and the contract was renewed in 2016. On 20th March 2018, DJ Spinall signs a deal with Pepsi Nigeria. DJ Spinall has performed in several popular events and shows since his rise to stardom. Some of the events he has performed include One Lagos Brand Launch in 2016, One Africa Music Fest New York in 2017, BET Awards in 2017, Mixmag New York Gig in 2017, and Africa All Star Music Fest Toronto in 2018.
The CAPUS Tour 3.0 of 2018, kicked-off on 4th August 2018 in Washington D.C, in the United States of America. The tour commenced in 9 cities in the United States, some of the nine cities include Washington D.C, Minnesota, New York City, Miami, Toronto, Dallas, Atlanta, Indiana, Jacksonville and Florida.

In 2014, DJ Spinall won the award for World DJ at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards, Best Nigerian DJ at the Islander International Awards and Best Nigeria VDJ at the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards.
In 2015, DJ Spinall was nominated for Male Disc Jockey of the Year at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards and DJ of the Year at the City People Entertainment Awards. In 2016, DJ Spinall won the award for DJ of the Year at the City People Entertainment Awards. In 2016, he was also nominated for Disk Jockey Collaboration of the Year at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
